Chris made his professional stage debut as the title role in Opera Hunter's Oliver! at the age of eight. He was then cast as Friedrich von Trapp in the Broadway revival of The Sound of Music in its Australian tour in Sydney.

Chris's other acting credits include roles in The Tempest, Twelfth Night, The Marriage of Figaro, The Pirates of Penzance, The Wind in the Willows, The Reluctant Dragon, Lists, An Enchanted Evening, and Five Kinds of Silence. His vocal coaches include Australian Opera leads Irene Waugh and Amanda Colliver.

Since Chris completed his Associate of Music Australia in classical piano, he has worked as an accompanist for classical musicians, choirs and musical theatre performers. His work includes accompanying for LASALLE College of the Arts, the Singapore Lyric Opera, and the Singapore Repertory Theatre. He has been musical director/vocal coach on Georgette for Musical Theatre Ltd and Scrooge - A Children's Musical for SRT, which he also composed. He played keyboards in the orchestra for the UK production of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang on its Asian tour, and has recently relocated to London for more work opportunities.
