Chris Pethers

Chris originally joined the Chorus in 1998 as a singing member. During his first stint with the Chorus he took on several roles, including CD Production Co-ordinator, Steering Committee member, Sponsorship Co-ordinator, Acting Deputy Musical Director and Acting Musical Director.

In his life outside the Chorus, Chris works as a funding and project development consultant for charities and not-for-profit organisations. He is training to be a counsellor and does volunteer counselling; he will complete training in 2008. Chris is also a member of the Woodhouse Players, a drama group based in East London, where he has performed in several plays, including hanging upside down on scaffolding as Gregor in Metamorphosis, and he directed The Dresser.

After a break of about five years due to other work commitments, Chris has returned to the Chorus in 2008 as the Deputy Musical Director.
