Brave - Virtual Performance

With so many key workers bravely keeping us safe and keeping things moving, we wanted to give our thanks with a little video we’ve put together.

More than 80 of our members recorded their own videos in isolation, at home, on their own equipment. Those videos were then painstakingly edited together by one of our members (Mikey Geeleher) to create the final version.

A huge thank you to all our key workers. You’re doing an amazing job.

We’ll post information of upcoming performances and shows as we can. Until then, stay safe and healthy and we hope to be back with you soon.

The London Gay Men’s Chorus

Performances

We perform two main shows each year (one in the summer and one at the end of the year) but also perform at smaller concerts throughout the season.

Join Us

Interested in joining? We currently have quite a long waiting list, but sign-up and we’ll invite you to an assessment (not an audition!) as soon as we can.

Outreach

We also undertake Outreach work to help eradicate homophobia in schools. Any profit from our shows goes towards supporting this important work.

The London Gay Men's Chorus:

  • entertains, educates and inspires through song
  • takes risks - making unexpected and surprising programming decisions, and performing in unusual spaces
  • performs a diverse range of music to the highest technical standard
  • provides a safe, supportive community for gay men to socialise, exchange ideas and have fun
  • works with schoolchildren, teachers and parents to eradicate homophobic bullying
  • believes that a diverse society is a strong society; that all people, regardless of sexuality, are equal and should be treated as such and works with other community groups and individuals who share our vision.
